Rez Kempton

Rez has had a continuous, varied and impressive career working alongside some of the best directors and actors in the business.

Since graduating from the prestigious, Rose Bruford College, he has appeared in critically acclaimed movies such as Netflix’s AMAR AKBAR & TONY, Merchant Ivory's MYSTIC MASSEUR, Hanif Kureishi’s MY SON THE FANATIC, BBC Film’s BROTHERS IN TROUBLE, multi award winning films I CAN’T THINK STRAIGHT and LIFE GOES ON. Other notable feature film appearances include; THE MUMMY (Tom Cruise & Russell Crowe); Independents such as REUNITING THE RUBINS (Timothy Spall), BASELINE (Dexter Fletcher) and festival winning movies with the likes of Katrin Cartlidge, Foundation Award winner – Greg Hall’s KAPITAL.

His passion for cinema extends to working in Bollywood too; on movies UMAR and HARI PUTTAR as well as numerous award-winning shorts such as FAMILY PORTRAIT, a winner at Raindance and KHANNA which won at Palm Springs as well as New York and is continuing to do well on the festival circuit.
On television he has been on hit shows such as SPOOKS, BAFTA winner Bart Layton's LOCKED UP ABROAD, John Sullivan's ROGER ROGER, Lee Evans' SO WHAT NOW? and CH4’s critically acclaimed ADHA CUP.

On stage Rez has worked with some of the best theatre directors in the industry; including playing Joseph in Peter Whelan’s NATIVITY directed by Bill Alexander, THE ARBOR directed by Anna Mackmin, HIJRA directed by Ian Brown and the TIME OUT AWARD winning THE HOT ZONE.

Later this year, Rez will be seen in Amazon Studio’s THE FEED.

He has also produced short film SHARP COOKIES which won at Cinequest Film Festival, California and directed television comedy pilot, THE MEL AND WENDI HOUSE; winner of an Accolade Award - Los Angeles.

Rez is currently shooting for Blumhouse favourite directors Chris Lofing and Travis Cluff’s HELD.
