Miatta Ade Lebile

Miatta Adé Lebilé (Pronounced Mee-yah-tah Ah-day Leh-bee-lay) is a Nigerian-American, Texan born, and L.A.- based television, film, commercial, and voiceover actress.

She spent much of her younger years living overseas, first in France, then in Chad, and then finally, Niger, before moving back to the United States. She attended Cornell University to become an opera singer, but after college quickly made the switch to theatre and stage work, performing the title role in “Aida”, as Madeline True in “The Wild Party,” as Sophie in “Ruined,” among several other roles, before falling in love with film and television.

Miatta recurs on Amazon Prime’s “Gen V” as Jackie Moreau and “BET+ All The Queen’s Men” as Gail, and has been on hit shows like Netflix’s “I Think You Should Leave” with Tim Robinson, HBO’s “Insecure,” Amazon Prime’s “Them,” among others.

She voices characters in “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor,” an upcoming Pixar project, and “Abbott Elementary,” as well as commercial campaigns and promos for multiple networks.

She has appeared in dozens of commercial campaigns, and you absolutely know her as the previous spokesperson for “Drivetime” (Yes, the Black lady in the green suit. She actually can’t wear green anymore).

As an absolute lover of comedy, she attended the conservatory at Second City Hollywood and was a performer in the “NBC Diversity Showcase.” As an absolute lover and expert on romance novels, she has a YouTube channel solely dedicated to breaking down episodes of “Bridgerton,” with hundreds of thousands of views. (She asks that we do not judge her for this.)
