Maria Pendolino

Maria Pendolino is a voice actor and performer originally from Buffalo, NY. By age 11, she could be found scream-singing Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables in her basement and dragging her parents along to her community musical theatre auditions. A true character actress from birth, she always wanted to play the villains, like Ursula The Sea Witch in The Little Mermaid, instead of the princesses.

Maria has appeared on-stage in NYC at famed cabaret haunts like The Duplex, Danny's Skylight Room and performed several plays Off-Broadway and regionally. You may have seen her on TV in a recurring role on Lifetime's hit drama Army Wives or re-enacting a terrifying tale on National Geographic's Locked Up Abroad. She's also featured in the Bollywood Toronto International Film Festival hit English Vinglish. Maria also perform stand-up comedy and her online dating stories have gone moderately viral on TikTok.

An award-winning voice actor, Maria is a genre chameleon working across commercials, animation, video games, narrations, promos, documentaries, live announce and more. She's currently heard on several national commercial spots and you can catch Maria as the lead character Prim in the upcoming Prim Adventure Game. Maria has lent her voice to pop culture documentaries featuring stars like Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Maria is also the in-show narrator for the series Fatal Addictions that covers the lives of stars gone too soon like Amy Winehouse, Heath Ledger, Michael Jackson and others. Coming to play in the NFL with the big boys, Maria voiced the game-opening promos for ESPN's Monday NIght Football twice, including the 2021 holiday game alongside music by violinist Lindsey Stirling.

One of Maria's favorite voiceover party tricks is speed reading disclaimer copy. She actually came in 2nd in the "Fastest Talking New Yorker" contest that was held at Madison Square Garden, sponsored by Chock Full O' Nuts Coffee.

Passionate about community service, Maria serves on the board of the Alleyway Theatre in her hometown of Buffalo, NY. She is also an active member of the Buffalo-Niagara chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, the Buffalo Broadcasters Association and the American Advertising Federation. In 2019, Maria was awarded the 40 Under 40 Award by Business First Journals.

Maria identifies as a member of the disabled acting community and utilizes a wheelchair, mobility scooter and cane due to mobility challenges caused by psoriatic arthritis. She is passionate about advancing disability advocacy and awareness in Hollywood and bringing an authentic voice to disabled characters in animation, TV and film.

Maria and her husband Eric live on a creekside five acres with their four tuxedo rescue cats: Two Scoops, Nellie, Mozzie and Panini. She makes a mean Sunday gravy based on her Grandma's secret recipe and looks forward to the Buffalo Bills winning the Super Bowl one day.
