Magda Botteri
Magda Botteri is a Peruvian voice-over artist with a warm, versatile voice and a background in education. She began her career at 17, recording radio and television commercials in Peru, and spent 16 years as a radio host, working on a variety of programs across different stations.
Now based in the U.S., Magda has spent the past nine years growing her career in the Hispanic market. Her voice has been featured in multiple commercial campaigns. She’s been honored with three SOVAS Award nominations and one from the One Voice Awards.
In Peru, she collaborates annually with Santillana Publishing, directing voice actors for their educational projects. If you take the Lima Metro or pass through the Jorge Chávez International Airport, chances are you'll hear her voice in the announcements.
With a degree in early childhood education, Magda combines her love for storytelling and education through her character La Tía Botas. She writes children’s stories and songs, publishing 12 books and albums, and shares them through her award-winning podcast Cuentos Infantiles con La Tía Botas (Children’s Stories with Auntie Boots). The podcast has won four Latin Podcast Awards, including Podcast of the Year and Best Podcast in the U.S. in 2023 and 2024.
Magda is known for being reliable, easy to work with, and passionate about creating meaningful content. When she’s not in the studio, you’ll probably find her enjoying a game of Pickleball—her new favorite way to unwind.
