Corey Burton

Corey Burton has been a Multi-Voiced Journeyman Character Voice Actor/Announcer for over a half-century, since age 17. Having workshopped under the mentorship of Hanna-Barbera cartoon character voice legend Daws Butler in traditional Radio Theatre performance craft, he carries the distinction of becoming the last known authentic "Hollywood Studio Voice Man" raised and nurtured by the remarkable Vaudevillians and Studio Contract players of Radio's Golden Age of Entertainment Broadcasting, during a brief niche syndicated resurgence in the 1970s-'80s.

Corey had a seven year stint as the NBC Peacock Logo signature voice(s), with promo VO work on every major U.S. TV Broadcast network for more than 2 decades, and documentary narration on many educational programs and series. Then years of esoteric movie trailers and promos, best known for "Deja Vu", and Robert Rodriguez's "Planet Terror"/Grindhouse, "Machete" and El Rey Network, as well as signature voice of FX's "Fargo" series, and "Trust". He is one of the most popular announcer/character voice artists heard throughout Disney and Universal Theme Parks, and in historical/cultural educational exhibitions and visitors center installations worldwide.

TV Animation credits highlighted by Lucasfilm, Disney and Warner Bros., he is known for his characters in the original "Transformers" and later "TF:Animated" series, Count Dooku and Cad Bane across the Star Wars multimedia universe, and in countless classic Disney character roles (such as Prof. Ludwig Von Drake and Dale of Chip'N'Dale Rescue Rangers). Live action series credits include Ted Lasso (as "The True Spirit of Adventure") and Book of Boba Fett (as the voice of Cad Bane).

His feature film ADR/voice work includes "E.T.," "Critters," "Total Recall," "Matinee", Disney's "Aladdin", "Hunchback", "Mulan", "Treasure Planet", Pixar's "Toy Story 2", and co-starring as Gaetan Moliere in "Atlantis, the Lost Empire", and Captain Hook in "Return to Neverland"; most recently, in "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood" as the opening scene "Bounty Law" promo VO. And honored to portray the transcribed voice of Walt Disney himself in many Special Features/'Extras' pieces where Walt's documented archival quotes are part of the narrative.

His voice characterizations are featured in video game blockbusters like "Final Fantasy" and "Kingdom Hearts", "God of War", "Crash Bandicoot", "Arkham City", along with Interactive productions like "DC Universe Online" and Warner Games "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League", and a great many more, too numerous to mention - or recall, offhand (listed on IMDb). He is also a former radio/TV/industrial analog sound production engineer (known as an expert on classic/esoteric microphones and audio gear and occasional dialect consultant).

Extended & Updated credits are on IMDb. It's a lot.
