Adam Jefferis

Adam is a midwestern boy, born and bred in the wheat fields of Kansas. Although, he is coming up on his 20 year mark as a Los Angeleno, so California is now his home.

You can catch him in supporting roles on shows like Lethal Weapon, 2 Broke Girls, Hulu’s Casual and HBO’s The Brink as well as on the big screen in indie hits like I Love You Both. For the past 12 years, he has been a ‘regular hero’ popping up in countless national and regional television commercials. His unique approach to characters is beloved by most and appreciated by all.

His love for comedy and improvisation started as A Huge Embarrassing Failure (a college improv troupe, not his family’s perspective on his life choices) back in Nebraska and quickly took to training and performing in Los Angeles. He has performed longform improvisation at iO West (now closed) and has taken on-going classes with Westside Comedy Theater.

As a Theatre Arts graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, his love of theatre continues to thrive being a part of Tim Robbins’ theater company, The Actors’ Gang. Since 2008, he has been a valued company member performing, cart-wheeling, directing, building sets, writing, interpretive dancing, and teaching actors and kids to freely express their wild sides. Adam has toured the globe with productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Tartuffe, and Harlequino: On to Freedom. In 2019, he was nominated for Stage Raw’s Theater Awards in the category of ‘Male Comedy Performance’ for his work on Accidental Death of an Anarchist.

He and his jill-of-all-trades wife, Rynn, collaborate on productions for the stage and screen including: Aphrodite’s Holiday Show (theater production), As Boo Like It (virtual production) and Hot Chocolate Holiday Club (virtual production).

When he’s not acting, you can find Adam chillaxing poolside in the desert, sporting speedos and sunnies. Or perhaps he’s whackin’ whiffle balls on the pickleball court and playing cornhole in the park, showing off his more competitive side. Regardless, he’s an extrovert serving up high fives on the daily.
