Arif S. Kinchen


Arif S. Kinchen became a household face when he portrayed La Marr Hicks, office assistant to Maxey Sparks, on the UPN hit show ""Sparks."" It's a role that afforded the actor the opportunity to reach a large youth oriented fan base.

A native of Los Angeles, Arif secured his first professional acting job while in the 11th grade at the L.A. County High School of the Arts. His first lines were ""Yo, what's up man,"" in the Kid'n'Play feature film, ""House Party."" He went on to secure a starring role in the short film, ""The Jacket,"" and guest starred on ""Saved by the Bell: The New Class."" Arif appeared in his first credited film role in ""Trippin,"" starred in the zany comedy ""BeverlyHood"" and in a co-starring role in the comedy ""The Wash."" He has also appeared in numerous commercial campaigns, including popular spots for Coca-Cola, 800-CALL-ATT, Lowe's, BellSouth FastAccess DSL, and a national campaign for Boost Mobile.

With numerous campaigns under his belt, Arif excels in the field of voiceovers, and in addition to lending his numerous vocal characterizations to hundreds of commercials, cartoon series, and video games, he specializes in the art of ""speed talking"" and looping. He has voice matched people like Martin Lawerence for ""Bad Boys 2"" and Bernie Mac for ""Guess Who."" He is also a man with strong ties to the Hip Hop community.
